Getting to Thruston From the East
  1. Take NC 86 South (which becomes Martin Luther King Blvd. "Historic Airport Drive") to downtown Chapel Hill.
  2. Turn right onto Cameron Avenue (2nd light after Franklin Street) then make an immediate left onto Pittsboro Street.
  3. Bear right when the road splits. Merge onto South Columbia Street.
  4. Turn left onto Mason Farm road.
  5. The Ambulatory Care Center is located on the right side of Mason Farm road.
  6. Patient and visitor parking for the Thurston Arthritis Research Center is available in the Dogwood deck. The Dogwood deck is located further down Manning Drive (approximately three tenths of a mile on the right) directly across from the main UNC Hospitals.
